Confession

I've never been much of a writer.  Sure, I've written a good poem, and one excellent technical paper while in Engineering school (among many not-so-excellent papers and reports), but I also failed my high school freshman English course due to my lack of writing skill and desire.  Really, I think my writing is okay when I apply myself, but generally I have a perfectionist's block and tend to get caught-up in an analysis paralysis whenever I try to write.  This is neither excuse nor reason for my lack of posting here on the Circle M blog; it's just what's on my mind.

Sprouts!

It's April Fools Day, but this is no joke; we've already got sprouts!

Of course, to those of you who don't grow at 7,500 feet in Colorado, that's not big news.  Regardless, we're excited that our new raised bed and cold frame seem to be working!

Another pretty picture

Okay, so "soon" may mean something different to me than everyone else.  What can I say; we've been busy!  Regardless, here's another view of the ranch, taken back on February 26th.

This is looking North-East from one of our higher ditches.  The corral is the area we intend on focusing our efforts first.  This is the area framed by machine shed in the foreground, the log barn on the left, and the fence line between the garden shack and tall shed (other two outbuildings).  You can also faintly see the raised bed we're building on the south side of the house.  More on that in another post.
